Emily is a second-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program. She is interested in the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based interventions for underserved families and children with disruptive behavior disorders.

Current Projects

Improving early intervention and reducing barriers to treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder and disruptive behavior disorders. More specifically, I am examining the cultural barriers that hinder diagnosis and treatment. I am currently exploring Filipino Americans’ perceptions and beliefs of autism spectrum disorder along with their likelihood of engaging in mental health help-seeking behaviors.
